Bring Your Heart’s Light to any Situation
Sometimes my world feels joyful and fulfilling.
Other times I am confused — I can be afraid, sad, or frustrated.
I wonder how to bring light to each situation.
As Soul, an eternal spark of God, I know I have the light of truth in my heart, and as a student of Eckankar, I have spiritual tools that help me bring that light to my friends, my family, and my community. I’m reminded that I can take troubling things into contemplation – that I can find the resources in the world to help me with my everyday life.
The spiritual leader of Eckankar, Harold Klemp, says:
“Whenever you see someone acting with love, goodwill, charity, compassion, and qualities of this nature—a person who actually lives those qualities—you’re seeing a genuine person. Then you can say, ‘This is someone living in the Light and Sound of God’.” The Awakened Heart, p. 98
